The Bianca Ballabio Foundation was established to remember Bianca, who passed away prematurely, and to bring to life the dreams she did not have time to realize.<\/p><\/div>\n\n

Mission<\/h2>

Training those who care for others and supporting local healthcare, through targeted and traceable projects.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n

\n

Bianca, a passionate student of Medicine, enthusiastically cultivated her desire to become a doctor and was deeply interested in travel and cultural exchanges, experiences that she had already begun to experience despite her young age.<\/p>\n

Scholarships abroad<\/h3>\n

The Foundation therefore aims to promote cross-cultural educational exchanges in the field of Medical Sciences<\/strong>, offering financial and organizational support to Medical students, young doctors, residents and researchers.<\/p>\n

Through annual scholarships<\/strong>, selected candidates will be able to further their education at Universities, Hospitals or Research Institutes abroad.<\/p>\n

Selection will take place through an annual call for applications evaluated by a committee<\/strong>, which will identify deserving applicants on the basis of their resumes, with attention to the applicants\u2019 economic conditions. The winners, if not unable, will publicly share the results of their journey, presenting them during an annual event dedicated to Bianca\u2019s memory, where her values and commitment will be celebrated.<\/p>\n

Projects in the community<\/h3>\n

In addition to this initiative, the Foundation develops a capillary and rigorously planned medical and social intervention model: each project is selected based on scientific and territorial impact criteria<\/strong>, and entrusted to local partners \u2013 university research centers, hospital facilities and specialized training hubs \u2013 chosen for their proven management transparency.<\/p>\n

Funding is tied to specific objectives: upgrading of university laboratories, initiation of specialized training pathways, purchase of diagnostic or training equipment.<\/p>\n
